Fou de toi lives within a building that has been part of our family’s story for decades. For many years, it was home to Warrnambool Picture Framing, a small creative business built on care, craft and helping people bring something beautiful to life.

When the space became vacant, it felt important to keep the building within the family. Standing at a personal crossroads, I knew I wanted to create something meaningful. Something that felt joyful, creative and deeply personal. Fou de toi grew from that moment.

Inspired by Europe, Rooted in Warrnambool

In 2023, a family trip through Europe changed everything. Cafés tucked into quiet laneways. Slow mornings with coffee. Long afternoons of wine, cheese and conversation. The unapologetic way the French embrace pleasure and presence stayed with me long after we returned home.

That experience sparked a realisation. If not now, when?

The long-held dream of creating a French-inspired café and wine bar suddenly felt possible. Fou de toi was born from that moment of clarity, bringing European café culture to the heart of Warrnambool, at the end of the Great Ocean Road.

A Space Built on Care and Connection

Hospitality at Fou de toi is genuine and generous. Every guest is welcomed with care, whether they’re stopping in for a quick coffee or settling in for the evening. Nothing is rushed. Everything is intentional.
